The 700uF Start Capacitor fits 3/4 HP Stainless Steel C-Face Motors. UL listed. A capacitor is located in the housing on the side of the motor. Briefly increases motor start torque. In boat lifts when the motor is a little sluggish at the start or just hums, it is a typical indicator that the start capacitor should be replaced. Easy as replacing a battery. No motor entry is required. Elite Motors OEM part. Works with Leeson / Electra-Gear & Leeson motors.
